I liked the way this one turned out.

Having just made a first attempt at a planet, this got my interest.  Obviously, this image just didn't happen without  a fair amount of effort being put in to get the sci-fi effect.  It worked, in my estimation. The squiggles reminded me of Windows 7 start-up screen.

My only issue is that the starfield covers the left "shadowed" side of the planet. One could argue that the sun on the right is not illuminating the planet correctly but I guess this is  a twin star system and the main light source is behind the camera to the right.
