thanks Henry, but the render make me very nervous hehehehehe
until now, i prefer pixel active city scape, its very simple and easy and i can build as i want in few minutes but with terragen i need time but its really give the realistic pictures therefore i have made this video to show the difference and the opportunity.

Hi Nacer

A few of the images in that vid really stood out from the others. Perhaps you will take 3-4 or of the ones you like best and post them in image sharing too, for a closer look.

Hi theBadger
most of the pictures I designed it with active pixel but with terragen 2 the pictures is not high quality except one or two with trees about 15 minutes
picture of Sunset i have made it with 3ds max 2013
but i still discovered it, really interresting

all the pictures are mine, and i dont like to take pictures from the others.
Thanks.

I suggest you use the search button first to scan for posts about dunes. There is plenty of information available, even sample files. Basic dunes can be made of ridged fractals, but refining them and covering them with sand (search for sand) requires a little more information. Try that, try to make a first setup, post, then ask more specific questions if you need.

yes Dune, i have done it yesterday, with some tgc files but i dont know how to use it
but personnaly for the moment i dont like to use files prepared before,  id like to discover the settings and all parameters, now i get some documentations i will read it, but as i told y before, for the moment the active pixel city scape is better and very easy

look what y can do with just  few minutes.

but by the way why in this forum why we havent the icone or code to put the video's directly

thank's

i will see if i can combined terragen with this program or vice versa.

look the UHD quality with this image this is 1920 x 1040. and i have done some one with 4774 x 2080 but with this forum we havent permission to put more than 5 or 6 Mo i think

My object or goal with terragen 2,  is to do some video's like this one
for which i made it 2 years ago with 3dHome

so for me i like combined some program's each others to get the best

spacilay 3ds max with terragen do y know why ?

look this example pixel active with 3ds max

its not hard to do it
what do y think ?
