So i have a video i need to make, and it takes place in orbit of a planet but i need to use 3ds max to render all of the stuff going on in orbit and use tg2 as the background.
But i would like to have the tg2 background slowly orbiting the planet, but how do i do this when the 3ds max camera is going to be moving around in its own environment separate from the tg2 camera,
is there some way to export camera movement from 3ds so i can create the exact animation in tg2?

Create the camera motion in 3DS Max then export as FBX and import into TG 2.5. Should be fairly straightforward as long as the units of measure match.

Hi,

Just to add to what Oshyan says, the units don't need to match as conversion will be done on import. I think Oshyan may have been thinking about a situation we came across a while ago where the users unit setup was quite peculiar. Generally speaking unit conversion should work as expected.

You can find more about TG 2.5's FBX capabilities here:
