wake up early make good views  :)

waiting for critics  ;)

Saurav

Nice lighting and atmosphere, I think the forground terrain could use a bit more details to bring it on par with the rest of the scene.

kaedorg

Thanks for your critics Saurav.
I agree wiith you. The foreground could have been better.
The problem is that i found the view nice at the beginning and i started to work on lightning and atmospher.
By the end  i saw this problem but i don't know how to correct and improve the foreground without changing the view.

Saurav

You can add small details using powerfractial shader.

kaedorg

i know that but can i limit the area of a shader to a specific area as the foreground ?
such as a limit x,z box ?

Dune

I don't know if you need to restrict, but you can do so by blending it by some other node, like a distance shader (attach to camera), a distribution shader, or a painted shader (paint areas, but pause preview window if you do, or it'll crash), or simple shape shader (adjust edges for soft shapes), etc.

kaedorg

blending  with a distance shader (attached to render camera) is a great idea.
i used this only with clouds, gonna try for blending

thanks for the idea  ;)
