With the introduction of TG3 it seems like one audience is still being ignored. I am a TurboCAD user and also dabble in Cinema4D.
I am not, nor do I want to be a TG guru. The work done is outstanding and I admire it greatly, but it's not "my bag".
My need is for a simple way to generate a good looking terrain as settings for jpg display of my 3D models.
I sure would like an application that worked as easy as classic ( modify and Sculpt), with the ease of camera positioning of classic, the ease of water and terrain levels as in classic and the object placement and population capabilities of TG2. In all honesty the Node Concept drives me bonkers. Having the output of a render available in JPG would save having to convert externally.
Just a friendly rant
I still think TG is an excellent product.
