Testing a bunch of new features here.  Vortex in the landscape, Voronoi Noise functions, depth of field, multiple spotlights, and a Mesh Displaced tree.  Output everything into seperate render elements which were then re-assembled in photoshop.

Woah, a really different look for you Ryan, pretty cool. It does seem quite sparse to me, the terrain is maybe just too featureless, but with some more detail I think it'd be great.

excellent warped scene!
I wonder - can you use the z depth layer as a mask to lighten the foreground?
great test anyway!

too dark for me to tell whats really going on. But I dig those suns!

I love how just the additional dots in the sky immediately transform a image into an alien scene.
And I never get tired from it. It almost always works.
It has been eaten.

No actual scene changes, but this time I put the image back together using blender (first time trying to figure out the blender compositor or blender for that matter).  Still don't really know what I'm doing, but I got some result anyway.  Certainly a better solution than using photoshop to recombine the files.

Oh, definite improvement! One of these days I'll have to have a closer look at Blender myself...
