Dune

I needed two buildings, a medieval house and a Roman villa, and plunked them in a landscape to see how they were.

Looks like a scene from Witcher2 that I playing now :)

Yeah the first one is certainly stunning. Love the veggie mix as well. Did you build those houses yourself?

Here's another one. I needed a 'motte', which is a medieval hill plus small building. A wooden ramp goes up to a fence, with a retractable (?) bridge-like structure. Hill covered by thorny shrub to discourage any hostile parties. Learned myself some things while modeling again.

Usually, there's a little compound near this 'motte', also with a ditch and fence around it. But not today.
