That's great.  I didn't even catch the little guy in the corner until I really zoomed in on the image.

Usually, i'm afraid to make big lakes in middle of a scenery. But here it's look great.

So that's very inspiring. Good job.

Like a photograph; you did well here. What method of shore foam did you use here?

Thanks Dan, sure looks like foam at this distance.

That's a really nice POV. Daring (for the guy as well), but worked out really well. I like the sense of depth you get from this scene. The transparency of the water is just right, but there's a thing that I noticed; on the right side there's quite a distinct line between deep water and less deep, as if the fuzzy zone of transparency (which there isn't) wasn't soft enough. Any idea how come?
And in the center of the lake there's a reflection that bothers me, it's very straight. Coincidence from a steep rise in the mountain overhead, but nevertheless a bit distracting.

Thanks for the look Ulco, both issues are with the World Machine terrains, I could open the tmds and decrease the steep slope on the right and sort out that straight vertical ridge line reflecting off the water. I would like to revisit this with some additional populations as well. Maybe in the future, its on my list.

Lady of the Lake

This is very well done.  I like the POV although it makes me dizzy.  :)

A great sense of scale here :)

Just because milk is white doesn't mean that clouds are made of milk.

The vertical line in the reflected mountain might be caused by the top of the mountain being outside the "ray detail region", i.e. the parts of the scene seen by the camera. You can probably fix it by increasing "ray detail padding" on the render node. A value of 0.5 should do it. I'm figuring that value by judging how far above the top of the screen the mountain is (maybe about 20% to 40% of the image height) and then adding a bit more to be safe.

Thats interesting Matt, I will give it a look tonight and see what the terrain looks like.
