I think the terrain cover is great beginning just past the gold object all the way out. The road is also super good looking as it is.
And the dust storm looks great too.

Not a big fan of that house though. It looks more like it should be in an enchanted forest than here.

Gold looks great. Would be cool to see a population of gold.

Sky looks very nice.
It has been eaten.

Like the idea and how you've placed a hunk of Pyrite (fools gold) in the foreground -makes a nice composition. I have a hunk of Pyrite setting on my computer desk. It was found by my son Ken when he was about 9 years old - today he is 48.

Sky in the foreground looks beautiful. It feels like a sand storm. Great one

Thanks for the comments. I rendered this a few weeks ago and didn't post it because I didn't think the house quite fit in the scene either.  The too tall house, probably intended to be in a Northern European fairytale, looks a bit out of its realm in a dry desert. Steep pitched roofs are usually for snowy winters I suppose.
