No.............it's not talk like a pirate day.  :)

Looks good Yossam!
I would change 3-4  things probably.
The sword texture(if this isn't by choice).
The table texture with a higher res one with just a little displacements.
Soft shadows (not sure).
And a little post for the candle flame. Small amount of blur and displacement.

By the way i like your attitude Yossam.
You work very fast and don't hesitate to change your images at all.

I don't know whats up with the blade texture. I added a reflective shader to it, it must be the lighting. Soft shadows are on...........doesn't look like it though. Looking for a higher res texture for the table............and I know the flame sucks. Wish TG had transparency. I don't mind changing things that will improve the image.........why wouldn't anyone? I know that some people don't take suggestions well...........to me that's how you learn.  :)

See that is what i mean :)

Nice idea and render.  ;) The only thing looks odd for me is the size of the handle of the sword compare to its blade...either the blade needs to go longer or the handle should be smaller...

only thing that bothers me is the flame. I like the rest.
It has been eaten.

Made a few changes................... :)

Lady of the Lake

Like this a lot although I am confused about the shadows.....they seem to be cast in all directions.  Maybe candlelight does that?

The shadows are cast in the opposite direction of the light relative to the object.  Since the candle is in the middle, then yes, it will go in all directions.

Lyla,

There is only one light in the whole scene. I turned the sun off, and put one light source a little above the candle flame. Since it is the only light it will cast shadows in every direction. I do have soft shadows on, but I can't really see the effect.  ???

Lady of the Lake

Okay.   I am still confused by it but I now understand.   ::) ;D

Very nice, Richard. If you're willing to spend more time on this.... did you alter the index of the reflectivity index of the sword to a 'steel' index? Perhaps an extra RT reflection might do wonders, maybe at 50%. And I would throw some 'dirt' over the objects (PF world scale), to mimic small patches of dirt, dust, dents, etc.
The coins may need a little golden glow (luminance), and RT reflection as well.

Nice changes ;)
I agree with the shine on the coins. That would improve the overall look for sure :)
