Winter landscape WIP
March 15, 2014, 08:25:40 PM
Here is a WIP of a winter landscape yet far from being completed. I'd like to add a lake close to the camera, and a vegetation made of firs and scott pines.
I'll post the updates as the work progresses.

Looking good. You might want to show some closer up foreground.

Looks like a film still, very nice. Interesting to see this develop. Bigger if possible....

Very dramatic sky perhaps some god rays? Some foreground would give a better sense of scale and place.

It didn't turn out as I wanted (and hoped) but still, it's an experiment and so I'm sharing it. Faked god rays.

In case somebody is curious, this is the version without faked godrays.

If you play with it some more you might be able to get "real" godrays, unless the clouds are an image map. Still good..............

I really like the light, but there's one thing I noticed. At first it appeared to me as a really big landscape, but the trees seem to diminish the enormous mountain range to 'hills'.
