I need to change the size one of the partition on my HDD but without re-installing the Windows on it. Does anybody know what is the most safe software to do this?

I did this before on XP and I used Acronis Disk Director and all went fine. I tried to use it on my new PC with Win 7 on it and the whole thing went banana >:( and I had to reinstall everything.

Not sure about free software, but I used Paragon Hard Disk Management Suite 14 without problems.

It might even be possible to do that from windows itself (disk manager), if you have a partition on the right of C that can be reduced. The free unallocated space can be made into a new partition and then merged with the C partition. Empty space should be on the right of the one that needs to be enlarged. Google a bit about it....
