You did right by posting. Don't feel sorry. You'll see that critics worth a lot here and it is a good way to learn and improve your works.

Nothing to be sorry about. Some people like posting their working renders on a project and some people prefer sharing just the final. Whatever works for you.

I say keep at it. With higher res and quality settings this could come out quite nice.
