Was looking for something else entirely when I found this freebie at RDNA Zero Price items.

There's Rain 1 &2, get them both. They are vertical populato=ions of falling rain and populate quite well themselves. Check the kwik and dirty test I did.

Looking good Bobby. Now, put the sun on your back and create a rainbow. There is a rainbow file somewhere in the sharing group.

kaedorg

Thanks for sharing Bobby. Very interesting.
I got one of them and try to play with them. I unchecked the cast shadows and put the color to white.
Did you change anything to get your result ?

David

Dune

Mmm, you have to register again. What do they consist of, these obj's?

I put the zip reflection image in the Col, Translucence, and I think in the Reflection image of the Default shader...tried a Water shader but haven't got that to work yet .

Ulco

They are square slabs of area with 'moving' raindrops of different scales and degrees of tail on the drop. 9 separate .obj's

This kind of reminds me of 'Space Bones' file called 'Liquids'; great stuff; but, they all come out opaque. I could never get them transparent.
