There is something about this noise. Whenever I look at that image, I feel like being drunk :). It looks like the noisepattern had been duplicated and offset just a bit...

Lava looks good in this last one. I still like the Black rocks in the first though. To bad about the blur effect.  No way to get the rocks of the first without the strange effect?

I like the latter one much better as it's more defined. Now you have to work on the color and structure of the molten lava; it now looks a bit like borsjt. Deep red glow, with small voronoi cracks of black, maybe use the fractal with a reduced white color to bring up the center of the flows (if you're using the color to manage displacement, that is).
