I can't get the balance properly right. Still trying for an epic "film" look ... Hmmm

I was thinking also to put some smoke effect on the left side where everything is burning...etc

I like the unedited version better,more atmosphere/mood.
Maybe you could enhance the effect by using colored fill lights,
especially on the dark side.

I would try another render with more green variation on the foreground parts.

I think it would be about done with a volcano on the far left side. Not even a giant 'Mt. doom', just something that fits. And then on the right side, a lot of color variation for the assets and move those trees in the fore back out of the way. Looks good already now though. I like the second image over the first.
