Oh man, this is going to be hard. Interior renders are perhaps the most convincing CG renders these days IMO (ever since Vray came about, did you notice how many used it? :D)...

OK, not quite as hard as I thought. 20/20 for me. Those fur things CG artists like to put in their archviz renders as if to say "Look, I can render fur!", they're so often a giveaway. Some were definitely challenging though. Mostly the telltale signs were material surfaces, or subtle lighting cues. In one case it was a camera artifact.

Interesting that none of the photos were actually staged furniture displays. The intro seemed to indicate they might be, but they were all people's apartments, heh.

I love seeing these things. I just wish someone were doing it with landscapes...
