So I wanted to uninstall TG3.1 as usual before installing the new
version. But,alas, after starting the uninstall process a window opens
and tells me the system administrator has issued some guidelines and
that I had not the required rights to proceed.
Which is nonsense, because there is just one administrator account and
that's mine and I didn't set up any guidelines at all.
What to do now?

U can try delete the folder manually under Prg Files...
or try to uninstall it in safe mode. Like restart win i safe mode.

I would also try to simply install the new version...

It's not a requirement to uninstall before installing the update, but we do recommend it. Unfortunately I don't know why that error is coming up, it sounds like a more general thing and not TG-specific. Have you looked around for possible causes of that error?

I always install in another folder without uninstalling the old ones for further use if i need the old versions.
The biggest problem in the past i had was that by trying to open directly from TGD files that they opened from the old version.
And i have now no problem at all.
Depends on you of course.

Tried it again today and it worked without any problems
just like usual.
I have absolutely no idea as to what was causing the problems
yesterday.Tried it a few times even logged out and logged in again,
no success.Never had that before.I blame it on Vista.

Thanks guys. :)
