So, I've just gotten into using Terragen, and have been able to make some good renders(In my opinion ;)), but sometimes the quality is, well, less then what I want it to be. So, my question is this: Would registering my version give me a noticeable upgrade in quality? Thanks for your time.

Registering TG 0.9 won't let you increase the quality sliders and farther, however you will have access to better anti-aliasing options and you will be able to render at larger file sizes, which will allow you to then downsample the image to improve quality.

First, thank you for answering. Secondly, would it be better(Quality wise) to just purchase TG2's Technology Preview? In terms of pure quality, nothing else.

TG2 is capable of much higher quality than TG 0.9.  It also can do lots of things that TG 0.9 can't.  In that respect, I would recommend purchasing it.  However, it is quite complicated and takes a different approach to constructing scenes, so I would recommend downloading the free version of the Tech Preview first just to make sure that the interface works for you.  You also can't migrate entire TG 0.9 projects over to TG2.

Sounds like a plan, thanks:P I had already begun looking at TG2, and yes, it it a bit more complicated, but I think I can get used to that for the things I want to do.
