windows or Mac?

Ok Guys I need some help here. Was offer a Macbook pro older model. Here are the specs
My winows laptop is a 266mhz 8 gig dual core. Is the mac worth purchasing for 150.00? Will I get better results?

Personally, I would stay with Windows. And a desktop is a better choice than a laptop.

You did not mentioned what type of CPU you have in your windows machine. Hope is not an Intel Celeron or something.
For TG use your current set-up is better as you got there 8 Gb of ram.

That MAC looks like 5-6 years old machine. Those specs are enough for everyday computing but nothing more.
