You need to make the stems green!

Don't know what happened here, unless I forgot to save the scene. That wasn't the only thing wrong...........no color on stems, no bump, no opacity image, etc. And I know I spent the better part of a hour adding these. Should have been asleep instead of working in Terragen.  :o


Hopefully the next one will be better.............. :-[

It's kind of ironic that we try and get away from having plants positioned too uniformly that we occasionally end up producing uniform randomness, which in turn can look unrealistic. In this case I feel that there are too many daisies at unusual angles spread evenly throughout the scene.  The flower heads also tend to be perpendicular to the last section of stem when in real life it will still try to face upwards (towards the sun) after a period of time

And take care with the grass patches; they are too large for the angles, so their edges 'float'. Maybe you should make a different terrain, where the daisy area is less rough/steep, and some rocky areas around it. So first mask the area for the daisies, use the inverted for added rocks and rough ground.
