The things I could make in classic terragen was just beautiful, me and classic terragen were the best of buds, and it was perfect for making skyboxes in UT2004. The problem is, there's now no way to get the full version of classic terragen so I can't use the locked render settings.

I know Terragen 2 is better in every way, but I can't for the life of me find a tutorial to render stuff in that for such an old game, and all tutorials for Terragen 2 + UT2k4 are 404'd. Is there a way I can get around that? Or am I absolutely screwed?

Here's a tutorial on how to make a skybox for UT2004, which includes a link for how to work with Terragen 2, but THAT link is dead. Is there a way I can replicate the Terragen 1 render method in Terragen 2?

The Internet Wayback Machine is your friend, Zippy!
I think the link you're talking about has entries on there (I just checked) but some of the images may not be visible as they may not have saved. The remainder of the site should give you at least some help, though.
