Animating Sky
June 18, 2015, 11:55:21 PM
Hi,
I'm wondering if the animation version of TG3 supports the following?
-Animating clouds moving across a sky
-Rendering out a hdri/exr sequence
-Separate render elements such as cloud layers
-Multi channel exr
-Animate a revolution of the sun
Cheers!

Yes to everything except #4 (multi channel EXR), although I should be clear and say that some render elements (e.g. motion vectors) use multiple "channels" of the EXR (e.g. RGB) to store data (e.g. x, y, z motion vectors). But I assume you are referring to something else like layered EXR or perhaps Deep Composting/EXR 2.0.
