Camera error?

As far as I remember we have some pro photographers around. Thus I hope someone can answer my question. See attached photo with the error on the left side. Never see this error(my cam did not produced it so far) before and yesterday I got at least 5 like this. Plus the camera did not saved about 10 shot on the card. Does anyone know why this picture error happens by any chance? Thx.

It almost looks like 2 shots overlapping. The way you describe it, it could very well be the memory card itself that it failing. Either that, or the camera is erring when its writes the file. I would swap out the card and see if it comes back.

Thank you for the answers.
I will swap the card as that is the easiest to do as a first thing and see if the error still persist.
