A few more experiments, using the new olive tree (which is in progress).

I choose No. 3!  :)

Incredible good street!

#3 for sure.  The road is perfect and a great view of the tree.

All 3 are good.
Number 3 does have more of a "where is this road going" feel without using the road to much pronounced in the middle.
Nice.

like em all and appreciate the progression...

No. 3 also. I'm sure they are planning to add a guardrail at No. 2.

Hey Ulco,

The marks on the ground doesn't make sense, except if local administration want to reduce the population number  8)
In other words it should be a straight white line with no broken one.

Really great images ... I can't really decide for a favorite one. Maybe the trajectory is a little bit to wavy in the first one.
I will probably will try to go for a darker and more reflective asphalt, but I'm probably biased with all the racing games
I'm used to play :)

You're right, paq. I just threw in the roadlines I had, not paying attention really. I am making some changes to the road now (in another setup); rougher grit, holes in it, and better line. We don't want casualties, do we? For now, this is the non-adjusted version.
Guard rail is an idea, and no problem with the displacable cube.
Added better road.

maybe need a falling rocks sign...and you're welcome heh heh  heh

Oh that last one is a really nice one!
Don't have much to add besides may be a bit more colour variation in the rocks on the left and some mild breakup of the strata (not really breaking them up, but rather using a fractal to slightly decrease presence here and there).
Although, one can easily argue it's fine like this, because sometimes there isn't much variation in colour in real life.
