Here's the final of the stone garden with the fakestone and background dealt with. Calling this final as my original intent was simply to create an easy forest floor and that is IMO a success. This render was Detall.6 AA7 and it took 19:29:43 so I'll not do this one again, Aside from that I'm happy with the results. I added this to the original thread but no one sees it there so here it is in it's own.  Thanks for the C&C...it improved the image.

Thanks for noticing Hannes, I as well am much pleased with it...I don't always nail what I'm after but this time I lucked out.

Very cool. You certainly did luck out. I like also that the ground looks almost wet with the leaves and such.    8)

Thanks, almost added a Reflection shader for that but glad I didn't considering the 19 hr. rendertime. Specularity is often really good for faking wet without the expense of a Reflection shader

Very nice forest floor, Bobby. But... I'm a perfectionist, and so I have to nag about something; how about that dotty vague background hill? What is it and did you do any post cloning to it? It overlaps some trunks.

Heh heh, y caught me Ulco...that wall is the result of moving the mountains closer and not noticing the resulting displacement.Should have just made 'em larger with displacement but I got lazy and maybe not as observant as I should have been. That was is indeed post-worked, enuff to satisfy/fool every one but you, hee hee hee...but I'm leaving it as it is and am moving on cuz the point of the image (Q&D forest floor) worked for me. You and Volker(who first commented on the unfinished back ground)will keep me honest.

Well I really like the trees leaf. Not even sure if it looks real or not (don't know what it looks in life) but is looks in this render very... I don't know... I just keep looking at it and I like it.
It has been eaten.
