This is an older project I revisited.  While my main interest is trying to get things to look as real as possible, I also want to do things like this (which reminds me of some to the things one can find at Digital Blasphemy).  -Jerry

Yes, nice render. The sky is wonderful. The foam I would perhaps give a little more depth and structure, but has a really nice voronoi shape.

The foam was done through "blue nodes" - a technique (that I can't remember who it was that posted them on the forum) but could be found either in the file sharing, or user contributed section.

Thank you guys : )

Dune - yes I agree now that I look at it again, and I am wondering how I would go about adding more depth to the foam?

Dune

Just add some small displacement to the masked area, either voronoi or plain perlin 'bubbles' of between 0.5 and 2cm in size and 0.5cm displacement. You can even add extra reflective shader, so these bubbles shine here and there.

When you manage that change of the foam, it will be an outstanding image. But it is already absolutely great!

This is my second attempt, although at slightly lower quality levels to speed up the render.

That is a beautiful image.  My only feedback would be that I think needs to be broken up a bit (needs bubbles).  But I do like this.

I agree with masonspappy, a PF to break up the voronoi would make it even better.
