Several test. After attempting to insert the vegetation and still not satisfied I made images of dead vegetation and toxic water. But no, I was not satisfied yet. I made a very different final image leaving only the foreground. In this series I prefer the picture with no vegetation and with dead vegetations.

Me too I prefer without vegetation for this subject.

Got some really nifty angles and patterns of the main subject without the vegetation. However the ones with the dead vegetation and toxic waters tell more of a story.       Maybe break up some of the stratification layers to give it some erosion.

Thank you Fleetwood, for me viewpoints also remember the Chinese Danxia Landform Zhangye. I had started some test with very bright colors and finally I'll put it off.
