Nothing very special, just a photo from a FB pal that inspired me....tried it with fog but too murky hence it's title

I've added the original for reference. He used a filter in PhSh...I didn't.

Thanks, for a while was going for accurate but went with an artistic interpretation.

Great composition. Your reflection is great. Behind the bridge, the yellows could be leaves floating even. Natural looking ripple reflection foreground. Good one!

Heh heh, no one has mentioned the floating bush on the left bank...just saw it myself...oh well, back to the drawing board.

Nicely done, Bobby. If you're redoing this, why not use a reflective shader instead of water shader and set reflective softness to let's say 0.002 to get a softer reflection.

This is a very beautiful image!
Could it be that there is a floating bush on the left side behind the bridge?

;D ;D Sorry ... after I read your post I saw it immediately  ;)

In my eyes this is worth finishing it.

Good one Bobby, I've been trying to do something similar for months now and just haven't been able to do it >:(

Please don't soften your reflection too much. That jagged edge in the foreground accentuates the water. In my opinion, the inspiration image looks like a copy, paste new layer, and flip of an image and then apply a wave filter to the flipped layer. That might have worked, but it is too circular and perfect. If that had been cut before looking so much like a circle, it might have been better, IMHO.

Well I was dis-satisfied with the ledge making the dark horizontal line across the top so I made a new 'bridge'. Took 5 tries to get it smooth enough. 1 segment per degree on the circle of the arch. I tried the water plane idea and am not completely satisfied so I enclosed a clip minus the displacement map which you see here Ulco...could you have a look at what I've done and maybe correct it bearing in mind my colour blindness...was aiming for fairly muddy water which I got with the Water shader but couldn't get with the reflective shader.

There's nothing in your clip, but I'll send you a file.
