*Work in Progress*
Done using TG4 Beta, Free Plants from Xfrog, Mr Lamppost and Wallis.

What's to be changed:
- Procedural Grass Shader - it's to bright (as one can see on the island)
- the back, esp. the hill on the left .. it's to empty

Feel free to comment and advice. ;)

Another new member, great. Welcome on this forum. First post is not bad at all. There are a few things that I would change. You're right about the grass, give it some more color variation and more subdued. I would also lower the object from the pop a bit so, the leaves don't start above ground. If they get too short, just lengthen the stems.
I would make the rocky bottom of the island and lakebed more uniform. Keep the colors of the different stones more together, or apply an overall color set (on surface shader set to 50% coverage) after the stones, but restricted to the area of the stones).
And the snow in the distance; you could try a displacement intersection (in surface layer) to try and get a more distinct soft layer of snow on top. This looks like very dirt, old snow, but that might be your goal.

Welcome hell_fire79,

Really a nice start. I can't add anything to Dune's suggestions. Try them :)

anyway the I like the sunny and fresh mood of the picture very much.

Fast and good improvements.

Well done, only thing that jumps out at me is why is there no snow on the mountain top yet plentiful snow lower down..seems to me, unnatural

looking good you did a very nice job rendering that twisted pine, that model has been around forever and is always a pain in the @ss to render correctly, if you render that with forced displacement that sure would sweeten the deal
