After a quite busy time with way too less time for Terragen, I did my first TG4 non beta render. I think I will do some more variation on the vegetation. This one was primarily to test the mist.

Agree with Dune...interested in seeing where you take this....

I added some more variety to the vegetation and did some postwork. I'm pretty happy with the result. What do you think?

Grass is Ulco's fantastic base grass (thank you again!)
Trees and Shrubs are from xfrog, Corndog grass is from Silva3D.

Coming along nicely but the fog,...shouldn't it be densest at water level and dissipate upwards?

Dune

Getting along nicely. Some more variety in species would do it good, more background tree species and some flowers or weed in front. Maybe Bobby is right; you could try to give the clouds a whispy bottom and then invert them, you only have to refind the altitude if you do so.

Yeah, right click to find coordinates on the water and paste into the fog.

Listen to them - they are right!
Especially the trees need variations and play with the fog...
Will be a great image. I like the start already very much!

Here is the third version of my little lake.

Dune

I would probably lower the POV and raise the camera a bit, then perhaps some focal blur would be nice.

It took some tests to get a grip on focal blur, but here is the result.
