Hello 3D buddies!
I have times texture and material in Blender 2.77 with the Kindle photographed, has not become great however the main settings for the import one can recognize. If you want to see it better, I can make good photos with my SLR camera.
For TG, Opacity is very important, you have to try it, I have so far only one picture with the nodes in TG adjusted.

the last is TG 3 free, where I have adapted the nodes.

Is important when previewing the texture klick

You are not masking with an alpha image?

not ever my friend.

For "some" objects of DAZ or Makehuman you have to set the "Z-transparency" to alpha 0 in the material, of course you can also experiment :-)

Then it is also often necessary to activate the texture of Blender "Alpha"!

I forgot, in Tg you have to copy the image that is used for the color
Copy to opacity so that it can be cut out there.

have fun!

I have completely rebuilt a DAZ Pinie in Blender and equipped with its own textures in camera projection, so are the "rocks built up. Fractal inputs in color and desplacement, which are mixed with 2 textures each, and, of course, reflexions to make the picture natural. (TG 3 free)
The second picture is a test in Blender for the abstract plants of DAZ

Further processing of DAZ objects in Blender and TG.
The UV map is influenced differently here, reflection and desplacement in several stages, with and without a fractal shader.
