One thing leading to another. Starting to test the very low poly trees (trunk and 9 or so halfdomes, turned into leaves by PF opacity), built a bit of rock above it, changed the rock (always this square rock obsession  :P ) and made the trees to blossom, and then added a C130 airplane... had to mod the airplane because it was a sitting vehicle with proper props. Nothing special, but here it is anyway.

yeah you start a picture and actually never know what actually you will have at the end...i know this stuff....happens often :D

Great renders btw! ;)

I like those trees. I've seen them animated in the other thread, and from a distance they look really good.

Clever trees that work suprisingly well. Rocks are interesting too!

Nice test. Trees do look good, especially from above and from the side i think.

Dune

Thanks, I made them for the 'Normal animation test', but I also figured they would be nice for distances, very LP.

That they are...Thinking about sharing them? Obviously I think they're well done but figgered I should say so.

I'll post them soon, no problem. Very basic, mind you!

Interesting tests - thanks for the share.

You're welcome.

The snow and ice formations are quite good to my eye. I can see many possibilities, but now I'm going to have some hot tea and warm up!  ;)
