This was supposedly a prototype built by Chevrolet for a car show that depicted the next Corvette. It used the front end of a '57, the mid section of a '58, and the tail end of a '59, hence the name. It disappeared after the show and its whereabouts are unknown. It was never put in production as presented, and the future Corvettes never looked anything like this prototype.

Cool car. I'd drive that.

I'm with Ulco on this, never much cared for the original and though I have models I've only ever used it twice, and only cuz it's a well built hi poly model. Did you build this model or is it available some where....or has it disappeared as well, heh heh. I'd dig to have it if possible...

I want this car!! Really, I do!
Minor niggle, theres a funky polygon on the front left bumper, kinda creaced and the wheels could do with being rounded more.
Also I like the atmosphere...

Richard;

I didn't notice the funky polygon until after I posted. Run it thru Poseray.............recalculate normals (flat), and subdivide to get rid of the chunky tires. I don't remember which model I used............there are two (nurbs and frozen poly). The atmosphere is just a "L" shaped cove with a soft PF as a shader.
