Testing a new tree, that's all. But I kind of like it, and it needs (at least) some better path textures. And I might add some statues and make it a real park...
Turkey oak, other oak, bramble, nettle group, my free basegrass, goldenrod, and 2 curly grasses. And one of the new XOIO guys pondering this.

Hey, this looks a lot like the area in which I live. Nice render!

Dune

Yes, Speedtree. Great software!
So, you're either in the south or not in the Netherlands, René?

I live in the southernmost part of the Netherlands(Eijsden), where the Meuse flows into the country. Two kilometers from where I live they speak French, kind of.

I really like the view through the trees to the background hills. Great start :)

Great test man...I often use the XFROG freebies of both the Cork and Turkey Oaks and find both lovely gnarled trees...lots of character...
but having just re-looked at 'em , whew, kinda lo res compared....

@René; then you live in a beautiful part. My grandparents used to live in a white bungalow beside the road exactly between Margraten and Gulpen, so I've been in that area quite some times.

Okay, update. I tried to make a hard rock interspersed with gravel kind of path. Rocks are cubes, handy stuff! Statues by Benjamin Bardou, consoles homemade, and the XOIO guy again.

One hour render with soft shadows and detal 0.8 AA8.

Beautiful Oaks! An altogether lovely stroll thru a rustic park. The statues fit gently in the slightly overgrown foliage, wonderful!

Only being there would be more realistic!
And it's beautiful!
