Well.... Her is my understanding of the expression: no pain, no game. It may look innocent and all that.
Just try to imagine how it will be when they start playing. Tackle = Blood.
This was actually gonna be my entry to the Ashundar contest: Up close, but I didn't make it to the deadline.

I am planing to do some more work on this. Already done some changes. I like your suggestion too, so I'll look in to it.

I was just saying maybe 3-5 blood drops on the ball and on the ground....you can easily do that in photoshop....
