Hello all.
After what feels like an eternity I can finally show you some of what we've been working on at Lola Post on The Planets, a show airing soon on BBC 2 in the UK (28th May), then some time after on PBS in America and many other channels around the world I'm told.
There is a lot of Terragen in this show! It's hardly surprising in some ways, that being a useful tool for terrain generation. I worked on all bar a few of the Terragen shots. The link below is a short preview I wrote for my website. The YouTube video is the UK trailer currently showing on BBC channels.
There is Terragen content around 0:05, 0:09, 0:17, 0:19 (clouds by Tim Zaccheo, not me), 0:30, 0:38, 0:45, 0:57
This was recently shown on the huge TVs on Picadilly Circus in London. Every few minutes it expanded to fill the whole array of screens, significantly larger than your average TV. Couldn't quite believe it.
