I have a scene with a terrain, a object and some water. The object is behind the terrain but the reflections in the water just don't want to admit it. This is really annoying. I've seen this many times before, but was not entirely sure until just now.

Will this be a fix in the next release? Cause I have a scene now that I really want to render but the reflections are ruining it all.

it sounds like the the bug where sun is shining through clouds or terrain and it can be fixed by enabling ray tracing.....

but posting a screen shot would help here...

also there was a thread on reflections being projected wrong in water and such....do a search....the thread was by zionner

This is probably related to a bug that has been fixed for the next update.

Just because milk is white doesn't mean that clouds are made of milk.

This is also about the water. I did find some threads about this but was wondering if this was a fix for the next release.

Anyways... I have found a little work around for now and will post the image when it's ready in the Image Sharing section.

I know this is little off topic but can anybody tell me if the bug where you can see the bounding box on top of everything....for example when you add a planet you can see the whole bounding box even though half the planet is below horizon....

Have not seen anything like that. I'll guess it's only in the preview window, or?

Hey... I finally understand what you are talking about. Heh....
This is probably my biggest issue with Terragen right now. It's so hard to place objects in a scene that I often do what I can to cheat. I really hope this will also be a fix in the next release.
