Clamp 0 Colour explained

Clamp 0 Colour will turn any value in the component channels red, green, blue that is below 0 to 0 and leave everything above 0 as is.

Using a colour source with values of -2 to 2 in each channel to vector displace a surface...

...the Clamp 0 Colour removes any negative values and leaves them at 0 in each component of red, green, blue.

Clamp 0 Colour can happily live in a vector based network as vectors share similar attributes, in that they both have 3 components (red ,green, blue compared to X, Y, Z) and can have any value in those channels. The preview panel will only show a range of 0 to 2 visually.
