Thanks all...
Kevin F and Old Blaggard, yeah 180 odd hours.... it was on an old twin PIII though and it did only have 512MB ram... and the atmo was still grainy at 64 so...
seth93, The clouds looked good at a lot lower quality test render so I went with them. The slowness of the rendering of T2 stopped me stopping the render after the clouds had finished

and I didn't have the will power left to start mucking about with them again. I may redo them at a later date..
calico, it is quite bright in the top left, I agree. This is due mainly to the over darkening of the ground by the afore mentioned clouds, and me having to do a bit of exposure tweaking in photopaint. It's my one major criticism of TG2 (though its more likely down to my failings as a TG2 user

), that the clouds seem to cast VERY dark shadows on the ground, especially if you want quite solid looking clouds.
mhaze, never been to that area, though seen it on the telly and photos, really should go sometime, its only a few hours in the car, and it does look very beautiful
Harvey, hi there man, glad you like, sorry I have been out of touch of late, had a lot going on, most of my time seems to be taken up with taking 11 year old daughter to and from stables to feed her addiction to, and love of horses

Love the new avatar by the way, v. cool
