As the title implies, I made an attempt to create a grand canyon-like scene using a terrain I created in World Machine however I failed rather spectacularly and ended up with yet another alpine scene. The mountains were created in world machine where I also created a basic snow map which I added to in Terragen. The vegetation consists of seven populations of trees and seven populations of grasses and shrubs. I want to improve the incorporation of deciduous trees into the vegetation but that'll wait for the next scene.
