It should certainly be possible and depending on the source of your data array could produce some interesting results.
In order to be useful in Terragen the output would need to be either a height map or a colour map. You may be able to extract some vector information but I can't visualise that easily ...
You could try using excel to create a greyscale heightmap with your numbers representing a percentage of black (0) to white (100). I'm sure the graphing and image parts of excel could provide something like this.
Ultimately it depends what sort of thing you are looking to create as your final output.
