Populate Inside of Inverted Object

Is it possible to populate the inside of an inverted object?

No, but yes...? I would populate the objects as you normally would do, but then inside the object maker of the population you set rotation for X or Z to -180 to "invert" the terrain.
Never tried this, but reading your question this is the first thing which comes to my mind.

Bingo. It seems to work with minor adjustments to the displacement drivers to get a good location within the actual visible object (they aren't attached to the surface). Thanks a lot.
