Good point, Jordan. I hesitated what to make, as they don't always bloom fully, and for diversity a lesser blooming version would be good to have. But they do make a lot of flowers (here at least).

I can really recommend Speedtree. The thistle (for one) is completely made in ST. For instance, you can make the seed pods from tubes, and have the little flowerleaves grow on top of that in whatever number you need. The balsam flowers were done in Lightwave and imported as a mesh. When it's all put together in the botanically correct way, you can adjust each element individually to avoid crossing leaves and such. That's the most work, actually.
