I haven't posted in awhile so I thought I would subject you good people to a few WIPS various sizes and low res. Most have serious problems! :)

The Middle render "Aral Sea" was from a haunting image and article on the web, I didn't have enough ships that were from the same era in the image online so just two here.

Last Render "Canon Beach" those waves are so close yet so far from perfect and very rough. *Edit* For the life of me I couldn't get WAS's sand waves to flow in the right direction but they looked nice so they stayed.
The more I use Terragen, the more I realize the world is not so small.

Dune

These are pretty cool, actually, especially the lighting and composition of the last one is great. Despite some peaks, teh waves also look very interesting/ I also like the rock and composition of the first, the only thing I would change there are the tiny dots/rocks on the sand. Or at least put them in patches.
Regarding the Aral lake; the ships look like brothers, a bit too parallel to my taste. Atmosphere is top. There are (abandoned) ships to be found on the web; try here: sketchfab

I love the wet, reflective beach in the third one, that looks really nice, and the colors are great.  Great mood!

Thanks Gentlemen!
@Dune your "Interesting" on the waves made me chuckle and a very kind way of saying they weren't very realistic. :) I concur, also that link is a jackpot of ships that would be better suited and with more variety! I find my luck with Sketchfab is hit and miss mostly. I will attach the haunting image from the web on Aral Sea. It's very moody.

@aknight0 Thanks! Btw, your recent post Wildfire Scar was fantastic! I can't remember if I commented so I am now. :)

That rock which I forgot to mention yet again in my second post is from your displaced cubes! A truly versatile share indeed.

WAS

Really like this dried sea one a lot. Dirt area looks very realistic.

Dune

I didn't particularly mean the surf was not realistic, in fact it's pretty good. Only a bit too spikey here and there perhaps. I meant interesting in a positive way!
