Well... I always ranted, that I would never NEVER use two suns (for additional lighting) unless it's an alien sun system image with two real suns.
But after I saw Kadri's "Half down" image I was very pleased with the look of the clouds (although I still think the presence of the second sun looks kind of weird!!! ;) )
So I gave it a try and added another sun to make the clouds look a bit more interesting.

I think it looks good. Definitely looks like the stations sitting in a very gassy sky haha

Looks good.

Hannes actually some of my renders i posted in the past had more then one sun in it.
It was just that i did not show the second sun.
As you know it can look indeed different-fake if you are not careful.

And now i am afraid that i might use chromatic aberration some day in the future  ;D

:P I have been using Kromo (python) and it gives amazing results for chromatic aberration simulation. I added it to part of my AI model, and working on convincing the company I am working for to add it to our software.

NOOO!

;D

Kidding aside is there much difference and by "AI model" what kind is it Jordan?

I have a Stable Diffusion colab I maintain at https://rebrand.ly/easy-diffusion

And I am developing with a startup with our own trained model and styles, with the goal for an art app with AI technology. To easy inpaint and outpaint with AI and create huge scenes.

Similar to something like this for Photoshop, but it's own software: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_4Y6SUs1cI

I also have ideas for a new trained model from blank on nothing but textures for doing 3D work. So you could just be like "Sedimetary rock wiht moss" and get out seamless photorealistic (or in any style) textures.

I see. That sounds nice Jordan.

AI technology is getting really hot lately.
Some images i saw were really great. And those inpaint kind of features are cool.
If i live long enough i will see AI generated Terragen kind of programs
as it looks from some videos (that were generated by AI) i saw.

Dune

Cool station, Hannes, and great skies! If you don't know, you wouldn't see there's 2 suns used.

Thanks Ulco! That's why I like it. ;)

Doug

i like the little spotlights on the station
are they little masks or something?

Hannes

Thanks, Doug!
I guess you don't mean the real spotlights? Actually there are nine of them.
The lighting that looks a bit like illuminated interior is indeed made with a mask. Very simple. I once made it with Photoshop. I might share it tomorrow.

Indeed Hannes!! Some more fantastic work. Love the lighting and clouds and I really don't notice that you have two suns. Curious to see how your spotlight masking setup works too. Nice work as always Sir!
The more I use Terragen, the more I realize the world is not so small.
