Dune

Another scene with sunk stones in snow.

Hannes

This looks great!!! For me it looks a bit like some dunes with the beach behind it. Somehow dutch... ;)

WAS

Looking good, though from the scale of the plants I'd figure there would be more snow breakup and things be wetter.

Plant mix is on spot

The more I use Terragen, the more I realize the world is not so small.

Great work as always !

Some more experiments...

Hannes

Wow, the snow looks great! Maybe a little too bumpy in the foreground. Is this a bird in the air? Hard to tell...

I guess that's what makes you a professional artist. I never would have thought of snow melting away from sun-warmed rocks, but it adds a large realism factor to the image. Well Done!

Dune

Thanks guys. Well the stone thing just occurred to me some time ago, and I like a challenge. It's actually amazing what can be done with the tools at hand, though some things are just not doable (or easy).

Look closely, Hannes; it's my Bombilio aircraft :o

Mahnmut

That lenticularis cloud in the last pic is perfect!

Oh I see you're coming back to the piled up stones experiments we were doing. Just need a couple guys hauling ice from a glacier lake. Haha

That snow looks absolutely fantastic. The reflective glints only add to the realism.. well done Sir!
