Sandstone Cliff

I used an image map of rocks for the lateral displacement (Side Z projected) having rotated the imported Gaea heightmap so that the cliff was aligned on the Z axis. This seemed to minimise lateral displacement artefacts.

Cool. Nice colors. Maybe one or a few layers of  horizontally stretched colors, especially where the strata are?

The only other online forum I am active in is the fossil forum,
there "rocks" means something completely different, as in "just ordinary rocks, no fossils".
But here its a good thing!
