Hi all. Just a quick one from me.... well, when I say quick, it only took me a couple of hours to put the scene together, but took 68.5 hours to render at quality 1, atmo samples 128 and cloud quality at 100 on a core 2 duo with 3 gb of ram!!

I know that the clouds are a bit odd, but Tash and Holly (wife and daughter) were moaning at me that they wanted to use the PC. Bloody hell, don't they understand the creative process  ;D

Anyway, I don't think it turned out too bad?

And I bet it was for something trivial like shopping  ::) ;D

Second PC?

A couple of weeks ago ASDA were doing an Acer laptop for £299 that would be more than adequate for all but Ultra High End tasks.  Better spek. than my laptop and I did useful TG work on that while I was away over Christmas.   ;)

I am not even sure that the clouds are wrong  ;D
Smoke me a kipper I'll be back for breakfast.

So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

I've had the same problem with the clouds, try decreasing the cloud's smallest scale in the density fractal, that should make them more detailed around teh edges.

The world is round... so you have to use spherical projection.

Believe me I know what you are talking about, ;D I have three computers in the house and I still get the we need the computer speech.

(I guess I could leave them one thats not rendering something  ;D)
