2 Feature Requests

I have two feature requests for TG2 or latter:

1. Reset To Default Settings for the Enviro Light and Sunlight.

To encourage experimentation and form a usability standpoint it would be useful to have some kind of reset to take you back to the default settings on the Enviro-Light and Sunlight, so that if you wish to return to the default state and wish to try some thing else you can.

2. Sliders for the colour picker.

The great thing about the way you set you colours in Terragen 0.9.43 was that you had sliders that allowed for fine control over the colour which also had a randomize feature the colour picker in the tech preview is great it's just there are no sliders for fine control.

Regards to you.

I agree with Cyber Angel....want the old colour picker !!
Is this real ? No, it's Terragen :)

The old colour picker was great, but then, the windows colour dialogue is much more useful. :)

He He, What I was kind of asking for was sliders to be added to the colour picker we have right now; once that's done the system would be a lot more flexible then it is right now. Doing certain things right now like adjusting sky colours for sunsets is kind of hard right now; maybe I am just one of those usability nuts but a hybrid system that took the best of the old and the new would be the way to go, we shall see what comes in the future.

Regards to you.

Right now we're largely relying on the standard operating system color pickers (on both Windows and Mac). We may implement additional control such as the "brightness/intensity" slider next to some color selection boxes. We'll definitely working on these things with an eye toward the most efficient workflow.

If we were to implement any kind of "reset to default" it would probably be available for every shader, and would probably be done as part of a generalized presets system. This way you could easily change any shader to default settings but also save your own custom settings and switch to them quickly. This kind of system would be extremely useful and has already been suggested before. It's definitely something we'd like to add.
